Ralph Steigrad
Symmetric Solutions was established in 1999 by Ralph Steigrad an IT professional with over 30 years of experience with leading companies such as Westpac and RTA. His goal was to provide small and medium sized businesses the same kind of technological advantages that were available to large enterprises.
To achieve this goal, the company uses specialist technicians and remote administration, enabling a company to access the highest quality IT services on a simple pay as you go system. Thus by serving many clients, Symmetric Solutions optimizes their use of the best IT people around, while providing a cost-efficient solution for SMEs. Ruslan
Ruslan is the Techie of the Team. He studied I.T technology at the Sydney University. Hailing from Kamchatka, Russia, he made Australia his second home. Ruslan specialises in Networking and is well grounded with tools such as Groupwise, LINUX and SQL, skills he learnt on the Symmetric Solutions team.
He loves anything I.T and works well under pressure, being ready to tackle any situation no matter how challenging.
Ruslan does not drive. So remote administration is his favorite tool. He has the right idea as we do in fact have customers more than 1000 km away. Who would want to drive there?
Itamar
Itamar is our Junior Specialist. When he was 12 years old, he was already putting together his own computers. Now he is in year 12 doing his HSC, and is still helping Symmetric Solutions with valuable Junior onsite jobs which he gets to quickly on his scooter.
Itamar is already well trained in basic jobs and is a valuable worker for his mobility to get quickly to a problem area to set up a link to HQ.
He specialises in Graphic design. Photo Shop, web design and 3d rendering (google sketch up) are his primary skills.
He likes efficiency, design, Chatting, and is a practiced Traceur of and practitioner of Parkour.
Sergio
Sergio joined our team as a support specialist for the BIDS project.
He is skilled in Database Administration and was involved in projects with Oracle and Sybase databases for the AIG Insurance.
He studied IT System Engineering at University in Bogota Columbia and moved with his family, his wife and two lovely girls, to Australia, just because he knows, it is the best place to bring up children and do best professional I.T. work.
The BIDS project matches him well, as the support has to be be multilingual, and he speaks spanish, understands portuguese and speaks very native English.
Hi knows major operating systems, as Windows and Unix. He loves contact with people.
Stefan
Stefan is a Support Specialist and a C++ and Java programmer.
He travels with his girlfriend to learn more about Australia.
Neta
Neta works part time and helps with corrections, translations, texting, bookkeeping, graphic designs. She can elevate a peace of text into a peace of art. See the influence of her thinking in www.realsydney.com, or just get the book, you will love it.
Beside the work with Symmetric Solutions, Neta is a lecturer at Sydney University.
